Looking for a real deal with knowledge in computer you better see this guys...
They sell some nice tools for fixing phones, PCs, iPads, Macs, and a whole host of other products along with their repair guides. Sometimes a bit pricey but overall really interesting people.

New Lap Top that I purchased intending on up grading the SSD and RAM. Consulted a friend who owns a technology repair and support business. He advised me to get the proper tools from IFixit.com BEFORE I messed things up. Watched several YouTube presentations. Ordered an entry level tool kit from IFixit.com.
Kit has all the Torx drivers plus plastic pry devices needed to get safely inside the computer. The tool case is really first rate. Just begs you to put everything back in place so it is ready for the next project!
I purchased a screen replacement for my daughter’s iPhone 11. It arrived and I installed it. Very straightforward, good quality in appearance. On booting, the phone immediately displayed a not original equipment message. I chatted with iFixit and they said it would do that for several days then it would be fine. The phone required that I acknowledge the non Apple part then it continued to display the message every time it woke up for several days. The was no information on the product page about this happening. No warning. No disclosure. If you install the screen correctly, it is very difficult if not impossible to remove it without breaking it because of the seal. After 30 days, the touch stopped working. My daughter is a young mother suffering stage 4 cancer and needed her phone so I told her to take it to the Apple store for a replacement. They told her everything was fine with the installation, as far as they could tell, but that it was not an Apple part and the result was completely predictable and by design. They would not give her the bad screen back saying it was glass shards. I contacted iFix several times and they told me that Apple was lying and that I should have kept the old part. They made no effort whatsoever to address the problem with me. Their attitude was that Apple lies to people and I was not smart to take the phone there. iFixit is just the current offshore scam. I am a lifelong communications component level troubleshooter and repair technician and iFixit gives repairs a bad name. Boo iFixit. Never will I trust you again for anything.
I have to say that I am disappointed. I wanted to love iFixit as a company, but after purchasing several MacBook batteries for them to replace my original one that failed, I can't say that these are quality products. I know that they just don't make things like they used to (I got very lucky in that my original mid-2011 battery lasted me for almost 8 years), but after initially buying a battery from them, it swelled up and died in less than a year. I contacted them and after running different tests, they promptly replaced it as they agreed it was defective/it was still under warranty. This was great! However, the replacement battery has now started to have issues after about a year and a half of use. I have done the same diagnostic tests that I did for my original one and can confirm I will indeed have to replace it again... But is this really life now? Will I just be buying replacement batteries every 1-2 years? I heard good reviews about this company and expected more. I don't feel it's unreasonable to expect a product to last more than 2 years, but if it is... yikes: -/
I bought the battery kit for a s9+, the only thing that was good was the delivery. While changing my batteries with their kit I broke my back screen, and the battery was less performant than the one that I got since 2 years. Yay
I bought one of their products after watching my Favorite Tech Tubers for years. Will definitely buy their products again. Excellent quality, like I mean the build quality is top notch.
Ordered tools and spare parts a few times over the years. Tools may be a bit expensive for the quality, but as a one stop shop solution for occasional DIY its hard to beat.
Fast delivery, goods arrived as described, very good service. Will use again. Recommend.
The iPhone SE (2016/1st-gen) battery replacement kit I purchased worked great. I was able to follow along with iFixit's battery replacement video (and the community comments along the way) to replace my battery safely. I did not break my phone along the way, I'm thrilled to say. Got new life in my awesome SE... I love that phone and am proud it's going strong after 5 years still. I relish avoiding Apple's desire to keep selling people new $700-$1000 devices every 2 years or whatnot.
It was an extremely difficult task but is was successful and i have a life extension on my Iphone 6. it works beautifully now!
The kit contained all the parts needed, and the battery seems to work as well as when the phone was new. Enabling me to repair my phone has probably prolonged the life of this phone by at least a year, maybe two.
Customer Service at iFix it has always been the best. I have done quite a few apple repairs and I will only shop at fixit. If you spend your time opening and repairing something, you want the replacements to be the best available. Videos are a great help also. Last customer service, Matt, has been A++ and understanding. I promise you, you won't regret ifixit and will become a loyal customer. Thank You, Matt

Their repair guides are very easy to follow and recorded in HD making it easy to see exactly what to do and how to follow. I personally watched the MacBook Pro tear down and it made my repair much easier to complete.
